Lou LiBassi is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Precision Mechanisms Corp. (PMC), a leading engineering and manufacturing company that provides high-quality products for the aerospace, industrial, and defense sectors.
Over his 30-year tenure at PMC, Lou has held an impressive array of leadership roles, including Product Management, Information Technology Manager, Purchasing Manager, Manufacturing Manager, and AS9100/ISO9001 Management Representative.
Under Lou’s leadership, PMC underwent a significant transformation, upgrading from a MIL-STD 45208 quality inspection system to a world-class AS9100 Quality Management System. He streamlined operational planning, significantly reducing product lead times to meet growing customer demands, and led efforts to cut manufacturing inventories by implementing lean manufacturing and Just-In-Time (JIT) methods. Additionally, Lou developed a dock-to-stock program through strategic supplier partnerships.
Lou holds a Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
